Masrour Barzani strongly condemns Monday’s terrorist attack in Hasakah, Rojava.
The terrorist attack targeted a wedding party in the Kurdish town of Hasakah, northeast of Syria. The Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack which claimed 35 lives.
“I strongly condemn yesterday’s horrific attack in Hasakah, Rojava,” posted Masrour Barzani, the Chancellor of the Kurdistan Region’s Security Council on his Twitter account. He called on the Kurdish political parties in Rojava to “put aside differences to secure recent gains.”
Separately, the terrorist attack was also condemned y the Kurdistan Region’s Presidency which instructed all the related-institutions of the Kurdistan Region to treat the injuries of victims and send medicine to Rojava.
